Passionate fans of Ariana Grande are urging that a individual who leaped a barricade and touched the performer during yesterday's Wicked: For Good launch be arrested or removed from Singapore.

A viral footage depicts the individual from Australia bypassing media personnel and rushing toward Grande while the cast walked down a event pathway flanked by onlookers.

Fellow actress Cynthia Erivo immediately pulled the surprised actress away from Mr Wen, who was observed being led away of the premiere by event staff.

Mr Wen stated on Instagram Thursday evening that he was "released after being taken in", though court documents revealed that he was due to be present on Friday morning. It is uncertain if he was faced legal action.

History of Event Invasions

This is part of a pattern for Mr Wen, who calls himself a "Notorious Troublemaker", has invaded a concert or event. His Instagram feed features videos of him disturbing other star-studded functions, including rushing the platform at the pop singer's Sydney concert in recently and in a comparable manner during The Chainsmokers concert in the city last year.

"Measures must be taken taken against him as this is obviously a punishable act," commented an Instagram commenter, in a reply to a video Mr Wen shared of his act.

"Oh wow so you do this a lot... how aren't you in jail?" a different Instagram user remarked.

Followers Express Concern Over Ariana's Safety

Several supporters accused Mr Wen for "causing further distress" Grande, who had revealed dealing with PTSD after a devastating incident at the end of her spring 2017 concert in Manchester, claiming the lives of 22 people and injuring hundreds.

"After everything she's faced... including the Manchester attack, you considered it entertaining to rush the barrier?" commented a further response on Instagram.

Some fans also criticised event staff at the Thursday event for not being sufficiently alert; while different individuals demanded digital services to ban Mr Wen's content.

Aftermath and Event Details

In footage circulating online, Grande appeared shocked when she was grabbed by the individual. Her cast members Michelle Yeoh and Erivo can be spotted comforting her while Mr Wen was escorted away by security.

Grande has remained silent on the event, and the remaining proceedings continued without further issues.

Hundreds of supporters had congregated in a mass of emerald and rose at the Wicked: For Good Asia-Pacific premiere in a Singapore mall, including a number who had waited for as long as a significant duration before it commenced.

The motion picture, to be launched on the 21st of November, is the second of a two-film adaptation of the well-known theatrical musical Wicked, which revolves around the unlikely relationship between two contrasting sorceresses.

The show itself is a spin-off of the twentieth-century children's novel The Wonderful Wizard of Oz.

Grande, who plays the character Glinda Glinda, was adorned in a rosé glittering gown at the gathering while Erivo, who portrays the villainous character, wore a elegant ensemble decorated with roses.

They were joined by cast member Jeff Goldblum.

The initial film, Wicked, was the most successful movie of the previous year in the UK, and received a dozen Oscar nominations, earning two for outstanding attire and production design.
