Jair Bolsonaro detained after being deemed a flight risk

Jair Bolsonaro has been arrested after authorities determined he posed a definite escape threat while under house arrest.

The former head of state was sentenced of plotting a armed takeover in September and handed more than over two decades in jail, but he remained under confinement pending court reviews.
